Thanksgiving 2012

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite times of the year! Of course, it is crazy with all of the traveling, but the good food makes it totally worth it!!!! We started off the Thanksgiving holidays by going to Granmona's house in Troy for lunch on the Sunday before Thanksgiving.
taking a break for a diaper change..
Being the center of attention by throwing and catching the ball...
On Wednesday, we enjoyed playing at home! We even took time to go get a hair cut! This time, Kimber at Snip N Barn cut it! She did an excellent job! She has had lots of practice on her 2 boys!
We went to Erica's to celebrate with all of Brady's family on Thanksgiving day around 2:30. I took a broccoli casserole, cabbage, and pecan pies. We had SO much food! As always, Erica's house was decorated to a "T" and made complete with burlap, cotton stalks, and mason jars!
Braylor LOVES talking to Uncle Terry!
On Black Friday, we did NOT go shopping!!! Instead, we went and ate lunch at Mimmie's. Of course, I would forget my camera! Saturday, we watched the TIDE roll all over Auburn, beating them 49-0!!!

Things I am most thankful this year:

BRAYLOR- everything about him- his health, his sweet disposition, and the fact that God gave him to me!

BRADY- he CAN be a good husband (when he wants to) :)

HEALTH- Enough said!

THE CROSS- Without it, I would have no hope of eternal life.

JOB- Even though I would much rather stay at home and play with Braylor all day, I am so fortunate to do something I love and help provide for my family. Having the summer off is definitely a plus!!

MY STUDENTS- Even though some of them drive me absolutely nuts, I know God placed them in my life for a reason. I only hope I am making a positive impact on their lives.

OUR CHURCH- We absolutely LOVE our Sunday School class. It has definitely helped us grow spiritually. Mrs. Carol Brock and Bro. Glenn are God-sends to our lives. Both will  have a crown with many jewels...

MY FAMILY- My Mother who has always been there for me and so selflessly provided for my needs, my Father for teaching me a good work ethic and discipline, my Sister for allowing me to practice my parenting skills way before I needed them (HA), and my Grandmothers. Mimmie is a true Southern Belle, and NanNaw is so country and down to earth with a heart of pure gold.

MY HOME- Even though it is small, it has been the perfect place to start our family. Not to mention, it sure is cozy!!!

MY COUNTRY- Even though I was NOT excited when Obama was re-elected as President, and honestly, I feared for our future, I know without a doubt that the USA is still one nation under GOD, and we must fully turn back to him....SO SO thankful for the freedom to worship!

The list could go on and on. We definitely have so much to be thankful for! We are truly, truly blessed!
